This study aimed to evaluate the attitude of students at the Technical University of Cotopaxi (Ecuador) towards the LGBTIQ+ community. The Attitude Scale toward Homosexuality (EAH-10) was used as a tool, which consists of 12 cases referring to equal rights, the naturalization of sexual orientation, discomfort with expressions of affection, closeness in contact, and support for inclusive and/or diversity proposals. Of the total of 533 respondents, internal consistency was analyzed, gender and faculty differences were observed, and the relationship between age and attitude was analyzed through correlation and regression. The overall attitude was considered moderately favorable (M = 3.61; SD = 0.73; ? = 0.83), with 44.7% favorable, 51.2% neutral/ambiguous, and 4.1% unfavorable. Compared to men, women showed more favorable attitudes (p < 0.001). With regard to age, a negative correlation was found with attitude (r ? -0.16; p < 0.001). More favorable scores were found in the Social Sciences, Arts, and Education majors. Although favorable attitudes were found in the majority of students, rejection was found that can be considered discrimination.
